About Us

Paveline International Pty Ltd is a design engineering company established in 1987 to facilitate the design and manufacture of high quality, cost effective road maintenance equipment. Paveline is an Australian owned company operating from our Sydney workshop.

Paveline's owner and founder, Richard Howling, has had over thirty five years experience in the fields of Civil and Mechanical Engineering with particular emphasis on road construction and earthmoving equipment. Experience counts when it comes to introducing innovative new ideas and state-of-the-art equipment and Paveline has pioneered the way to become "the road maintenance equipment specialist" in designing and producing quality road patching machines.

Our company philosophy, "Good Design Saves Money" has seen Paveline continually develop new improvements in road maintenance equipment aimed specifically at reducing costs while enhancing performance.

Paveline's innovations over the years have been so successful and widely accepted that other manufacturers have had to provide similar features just to keep up with marketplace demands. Just as with the integrated aggregate spreader, spray bar and cab controlled 'out front' booms, our competitors have had to follow where PAVELINE has pioneered!
  • Designed and introduced micro coated paving and edging.
  • Designed and introduced single operater blower patching to Australia with its own Australian built machine.
  • Designed and introduced single operator spray and seal with integrated aggregate spreader/spray bar for full width sealing while travelling forward.
  • Designed and introduced "HOT SHOTS" self cleaning emulsion spray tips, eliminating the need for kerosene!!
Our range extends from 240 litre self loading bitumen emulsion spray modules for the NSW Roads & Maritime Services to the fully automated single operator AutoPatch with the AutoPave and AutoBroom attachments.
Why has Paveline been the No. 1 supplier of road patching machines in Australia since 1996?

Our current model Autopatch features a fully automated cab operated front boom which can quickly and easily carry out road patching work by a single operator from within the cab.  The Autopatch, with a 2,000 litre emulsion and 6m3 aggregate supply, is capable of delivering 12m3 of patching per day.

Paveline offers a modular pricing schedule where customers can select which options would suit their particular applications.  Modules can be added at a later date to allow for customers growing needs.  Additionally, with the clever design and robust construction the Paveline machine re-sale or trade-in value is the highest in the industry, therefore, the pricing advantage is maintained throughout the life of the machine.

The AutoPatch is the unit that is now being viewed as the solution to road reconstruction needs.  Where the road base is still stable but deformed from traffic, the Autopatch will reclaim roads with costs of A$4.00 to A$8.00 per m2 compared to reconstruction at A$60.00 to A$80.00 per m2.  For example, one Council in Victoria using a Paveline hire machine, recorded  costs of $2.50 per m2 for shoulder to shoulder reconstruction.

Let Paveline help you with your road maintenance programme.
